Pigmentan 465M is an oxyaminophosphate salt of magnesium.
Pigmentan 465M, that is non toxic and does not contain heavy metals such as zinc or other hazardous ingredients, complies with REACH and ROSH directives.
Pigmentan 465M is a white non-refractive anticorrosive pigment used as multipurpose inhibitor for metal primers – alkyds, two-pack epoxy, polyurethane and polyester in solvent based as well as in various water based systems.
Pigmentan 465M can substitute zinc phosphate and chromate compounds at lower loadings by weight, providing superior protection for all metals.
Pigmentan 465M provides excellent performance and cost effectiveness to the paint formulator.
Pigmentan 465M is an excellent non-chrome substitute for strontium and other chromate compounds in aluminum primers and is excellent for wash primers, in addition to its high efficiency in primers for ferrous metals.
Pigmentan 465M has a high efficiency and low specific gravity which can lead to savings of 40-60% compared to existing anticorrosive pigments in the paint formulation.
